Terms of Service

Rockstar Funding (the "Service") is provided by Rockstar Recruiting Services AG ("Rockstar", "we", "us"), Chamerstrasse 79, 6300 Zug, Switzerland. By signing in to feed.rockstar.jobs or using any feature of the Service you agree to these Terms.

You must use a valid email address that you control. Access is granted either by paid subscription (section 3) or by invitation, and we may revoke invitation-based access at any time. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account.

You may not share your account with another person, or use one account on behalf of multiple people. Each user needs their own.

Access to the database and API is available on a paid subscription. Current prices are CHF 200 per month or CHF 1,680 per year (equivalent to CHF 140 per month). All prices are exclusive of VAT, which is added at checkout at the rate applicable to your billing address. Business customers may enter a VAT identification number so the invoice is issued under the reverse-charge procedure where the rules allow it.

Payment and card data. Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's own hosted checkout and are never transmitted to, stored on, or accessible from our servers. We receive a customer reference, the subscription status and the billing email — nothing more.

Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price for that plan, until cancelled. We will give notice before any price change takes effect for an existing subscription; you may cancel before the change applies.

Cancellation. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and access continues until then. We do not pro-rate or refund part-used periods, and there is no minimum term.

Failed payment. If a payment fails we retry it over several days and contact you. Access continues during that period. If payment is not completed, the subscription ends and the account returns to the pending state, from which it can be re-subscribed — your watchlists, ratings and notes are retained, not deleted.

Discount codes. Promotional codes are valid only for the product they are issued against, may be withdrawn at any time for new redemptions, and confer no right to a discount on a future subscription.

Statutory withdrawal. Where you subscribe as a consumer and a statutory right of withdrawal applies, exercising it during the withdrawal period entitles you to a refund; by starting to use the Service within that period you agree that performance begins immediately. Most subscribers here contract as businesses, for whom no such right applies.

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk email (spam) or violate anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL, etc.) in the jurisdictions you target.
• Use the Service to harass, deceive, or impersonate other people or organizations.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the Service except via the documented APIs.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service.
• Use the Service to violate any applicable law, including data-protection regulations.

The Service includes tools that send mail on your behalf from your own connected email account. You — not Rockstar — are the sender of those messages. You are responsible for compliance with anti-spam laws and for the content of mail you send.

You retain ownership of content you create in the Service (notes, drafts, manual edits). You grant us a non-exclusive licence to process that content as needed to operate the Service (display it back to you, sync it across your sessions, back it up).

The Service stores public-domain information about companies, funding rounds, and people that we ingest from public sources. We make no claim of ownership over that underlying data. If a record about you is inaccurate or you want it removed, email tech@rockstar.jobs.

Use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how we use it.

The Service integrates with third-party providers (Stripe for payments, Google Gmail, Resend, Lusha, and various LLM APIs — see the Privacy Policy for the full list). Your use of those integrations is also subject to their respective terms. If a third-party service is unavailable, parts of the Service may not work.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may make changes to features, schedule maintenance, or temporarily suspend the Service for security or operational reasons.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rockstar disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Funding events and contact records are derived from public sources and machine extraction — they may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. Verify before acting on them.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rockstar is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the fees you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or CHF 100 if no fees have been paid).

You may stop using the Service at any time; to end a paid subscription, cancel it as described in section 3. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we are required to by law. If we terminate a paid subscription for a reason other than your breach, we refund the unused part of the period you have paid for. On termination, the rights granted to you under these Terms end immediately; the data-handling commitments in the Privacy Policy survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zug, Switzerland, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on this page and (for significant changes) by email. Continued use of the Service after the change date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
